Responsibilities:
• Identify and analyze business requirements and document them into the technical & functional specification document
• Define, document and manage the scope, budget, resource requirements, work plan and report for project status
• Provide solution analysis and advice to business units and deliver efficient IT solutions to address business needs and challenges
• Liaise with the internal and external resource to deliver the project on time
• Ensure appropriate formal project management methodology, including project plans, consistent status updates, and implementation of best practices is undertaken
• Prepare and deliver effective project presentations for steering committee and other senior forums
• Ensure global project reporting requirements are delivered
• Identify key project risks and manage resolution to ensure the delivery of business goals, project and initiatives on time and within budget, and stakeholder expectations can be met
Qualifications & Experience required:
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology. MIS, Accounting or related discipline
• ACCA / CPA is definitely an advantage
• At least 6 years of experience in direct IT program and project management, including all aspects of project development and delivery implementation
• Hand-on experience in implementing Oracle EBS / JDE’s Finance Module is a must
• Proven experience at delivering large, complex, multi-disciplinary programs and projects
• Proficiency in Project Management Methodology, PMP or Prince2 certification, and background in software development or finance project management will be advantage
• Strong in project management software, such as MS Project Online, to provide visibility to all levels of management and stakeholders
• Strong knowledge in Project reporting and risk management skills
• Good understanding in Finance business process including AR, AP & GL
• Strong business acumen and able to understand Financial reports such as Balance Sheet and P&L Report
• Good understanding in local finance regulation within East Asia will be an advantage (especially China & Japan)
• Ability to define business requests/issues, then identify strategies for resolution
• Self-motivated and able to demonstrate the ability to be focused and results oriented
• Able to drive project related risks and issues to resolution effectively
• Excellent communications skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Good command of Cantonese, and Putonghua is an advantage
