This role is ideal for a technical expert who has strong functional skills working with HCM modules globally. The expert will have a strong track record of working with key HR stakeholders and translating business requirements to best practice Oracle HCM solutions.
The role will involve supporting existing E-Business Suite HCM configurations and extensions based on new business requirements. This role will report on a day to day basis to the Global HR Systems Lead.
Techno/Functional system support of R12 HCM functionality currently in use at Arup.
Provide expertise in both a configuration and technical capacity, following best practice Oracle Applications standards in solution design, testing and implementation.
Work closely with Global HR stakeholders in understanding business process needs, producing appropriate functional specifications and solutions.
Experience of delivering enhancements and small business change to the E-Business Suite HCM modules to time and budget
Work towards the Global HR IT roadmap and contribute to the development of Oracle HRMS footprint and other HR related propositions.
Advise, support and mentor team members both on and offshore.
Key HCM modules required are: Core HR, Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB), Compensation Workbench (CWB), Fast Formula, Absence Management and Self-Service HR.
Key Technical requirements: SQL, PL/SQL, SQL* Loader, Unix Shell Scripting, BI Publisher, Web ADI, Discoverer (including EUL) and OAF.
Requirements
Batchelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with significant functional/Technical experience of Oracle Applications HCM R12.
Demonstrable experience of supporting, developing and maintaining ERP HCM modules in a global fast paced ever changing environment.
Extensive hands-on experience of Oracle Applications E-Business Suite HRMS (Release 12). The candidate must have experience of full cycle HCM implementations, application upgrades and exposure of working in a post implementation business as usual support capacity.
Functional experience - Core HR, Advanced Benefits, Fast Formulas, Compensation Workbench, Self Service HR and Absence Management in configuration of PTO Accrual Plans.
Strong communication skills, fostering good relations with key HR business stakeholders. The role will involve leading the offshore technical team in the development of HR Systems.
Experience in systems integrations - support and implementation of interfaces between HRIS and 3rd Party systems. Experience of integrating on premise and cloud systems is an advantage.
Good technical understanding of Oracle HR, underlying schema and associated technical architectures. Proficient in best practice development standards, release management, performance tuning, debugging tools and techniques.
Demonstrable experience of SQL, PL/SQL, creation of reports using BI Publisher, Discoverer EUL administration and reporting, Oracle APIs, and Forms Personalisations. Experience of using OAF, Workflow and AME an advantage.
